Art Thru A Lens: Week 14

You would have thought that this week's 52 project topic of flight would have been quite easy for me. After all i do work for a flying academy and we have students, pilots, aircraft and simulators galore. The simulators are even in my building! However I thought I would go up to the FOC and take pics of the planes for this weeks topic. How wrong I was the only time I had a car this week and had to go up to the FOC (the air-conditioning leaked into the ceiling) I forgot to take my camera in the rush. So this weeks is a very simple still life taken on the boardroom table.

This week also saw the start of a 6 week course through Sketchbook Skool with the hope that my drawing will improve and help my down time from a busy office. I would like to combine both my art and my photography which will inevitably involve learning more about Photoshop but at this point I am not sure where that will lead. My idea at the moment is to get back into drawing and learn watercolour (a medium that has always eluded me).

It is hard to believe today is 96 days in a row and I have been pleased to manage a photo a day so far. Some have been good (only in my opinion) others have been well..... I will be interested at the end of the year to see them all.
