Week 19 | 2014

Southern Automotive shut up shop this week. Without any big fanfare. Without any song and dance. It has given Nick and I some fantastic ups and some heartbreaking lows but neither of us would swap the experience for the world. Owning your own business is one of the most rewarding and challenging experiences that a husband and wife can go through - and we both came through the other end unscathed.

Nick is now going to work in a suit and causing me more ironing each week. Given the choice of ironing or washing mechanics overalls I will take ironing anytime. Starting Monday we will be back to a normal week where we manage to get home before 9pm (although getting up at 4.30am to go to the gym might not be everyones cup of tea).
