Getting into a new habit takes 30 days (or so says The Secret by Rhonda Byrne - a must read if you haven't already) so being on day 12 of my 365 project I am almost half way there to forming a new habit. I cannot tell you how much I have loved throwing away the rule book and relaxing about my photography since the start of the year. Allowing myself to make mistakes and not expect that every picture has to be an award winning one has done wonders for my creativity and positivity.

It has been a good week (it did help having a week off work!) I have almost kicked the sugar habit - did extremely well all week (lost 2.5kg by eating healthy and exercise) but had to try Nick's choc/blueberry brownie last night (it would have been rude not to, wouldn't it?) and I thoroughly enjoyed a Magnum ice cream this afternoon. All in all not bad at all for a first week sugar free.
Week 1 | Macro
As usual with me I was not content to do just a 365 project this year along side our monthly Akubras and Berets I had to give myself a couple more challenges (cause you can never put too much pressure on yourself can you?). Project number 2 is coffee - Nick and I both love coffee and I have been known to send a latte back if it is not drinkable! So perhaps a coffee table book of my year with coffee is on the cards. Project number 3 is a 52 week project. I came across a 52 week list and thought why not? I
ts something I can have a week to think about and plan instead of a day. That was started today and I caught up as I was technically a week behind.
