Week 3 | 2014

Christmas and summer holidays are now a distant past. What has happened this week has been an unbelievable heat wave along with bush fires all across Victoria. My heart goes out to all those whose lives have been touched by the fires especially all in Halls Gap area. Our beautiful Grampians are again taken back by Mother Nature.

Luckily for me I was in an air conditioned office all week however I believe that made it worse when I left - the heat hit like a smack in the face with a shovel! Saturday and Sunday however have been a lot cooler. Time for me to start the monthly project for Akubras and Berets. It did work out really well that one of the shots I had planned for that also incorporated day 18 of my 365 project - Nick slaved in the kitchen Sunday morning to cook my photography prop which I then had to eat (was such a hardship!).

Week 3 | Transport

The theme for this week was dance however try as I might I could not think of anything inspiring so I preceded to ask my idea guru for another topic. I am still enjoying my 365 project 19 days in and it has made it easy bouncing ideas off Nick (who is chomping at the bit for February when he gets his new Samsung NX300 for his birthday).
