Art Thru A Lens: Week 22

This week I turned 49 - my last 365 days of being in my 40's. When I reached 40 so did a lot of celebrities that I grew up with and 40 was announced the new 30s. Now all of those female stars are hitting 50 as well and are saying life begins at 50. I have 365 days to get used to that idea.

Sometimes it feels as if I am still in my 20's still unsure and insecure about things.

Today has been a belated birthday celebration from my beloved as he was away on my birthday and we have both been ill all week. Losing my voice for 4 days I am sure was only a blessing in his eyes.

Sitting here in the warm winter sun that is streaming through the window - life is good.
